How to get rid of wrinkles

When it comes to treating lines and wrinkles there are a number of different options available, including aesthetic medicine and advanced skin treatments. So, whether you’re looking to prevent the early signs of ageing, or target lines and wrinkles – we’re here to help.

Botulinum Toxin:

Arguably the most popular procedure for treating lines and wrinkles; cosmetic injections can help turn back the clock and reduce the signs of ageing. Botulinum Toxin is made from a purified protein, and is gently injected into the targeted area, temporarily reducing the action of the targeted muscles and preventing them from moving. As a result, lines and wrinkles in the skin are softened, giving you a younger, fresher-looking appearance. We treat the following areas:

  • Forehead lines and wrinkles
  • Crows feet lines around the eyes from squinting and smiling
  • Frown lines
  • Brow lift
  • Bunny scrunch lines formed when you scrunch your nose
  • Lips - smile lines or ‘smokers’ lines
  • Chin – smooth the fines lines from scrunching your chin
  • Facial sculpting along jawline

Dermal Filler:

Although used to add volume and rejuvenate the face, it can also help to soften lines and wrinkles – particularly around the mouth. Fine lips lines (often called ‘smokers lines’) can be softened by treating the lips with dermal filler. As the product adds volume to the lips, the lines will become less defined.

Fractional CO2 Laser:

Our most advanced skin treatment targets the signs of ageing, skin texture and skin damage for truly long-lasting results. The laser targets the cells deep in the dermis and encourages collagen production; this new, healthy collagen repairs the skin surface to give you a more even texture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and correcting the signs of ageing. For the greatest improvement, we recommend a course of Fractional C02 treatments combined with our skin conditioning treatments to help prepare the skin - available on a Skin Health Membership.

Daily light protection is essential, applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen will protect you from harmful UV rays from the sun as well as artificial light from computer screens and technology. It really is your best form of wrinkle prevention, so apply liberally, daily, rain or shine.

Don’t forget about the delicate eye area – it’s often the first sign of ageing. We recommend our Eye Concentrate, which includes Argireline, a peptide that works to actively reduce the appearance of lines, as well as eyebright extract to de-puff and help with dark circles.

Remember, prevention is better than correction so make sure you’re taking great care of your skin now – and it will thank you later!
